Minister of Rural Affairs
Arvo Aller is the Minister of Rural Affairs of the Republic of Estonia since 10 December 2019. He is a member of the Conservative People’s Party of Estonia (EKRE).
Arvo Aller was born in Kohtla-Järve on 28 July 1973. He is married and a father of two. Aller joined the People’s Union of Estonia in 2002 (known as Conservative People’s Party of Estonia since 2012).
In 2018–2019, he was a member of the Jõhvi rural municipality council. In 1999–2019, he was the director of Ida-Viru County Farmers’ Union; from 1997, he was an agricultural adviser at the union. In 1996, he was an underground electrical repair mechanic at AS Eesti Põlevkivi and a tractor driver at OÜ Revino.
